I was born in Ukraine and received degree in Veterinary Medicine. I came to US to study for my PhD at Louisiana State University where I learned about southern charm and hospitality. Upon graduation I was doing research and teaching at NCSU and built several new research facilities. When opportunity to set up a new lab called at Enzon, New Jersey called upon I moved North.
By moving to central New Jersey, I found many benefits of New York outskirts lifestyle. Not all of them were affordable however. Being exposed to interior design all my life and doing lab design for living, I was impressed in variety of design ideas, attention to details and efficient floor plans available. I assume limited space helps people creativity, but personally after living in North Carolina, New Jersey life style was difficult to adapt to.
When economy turned sour, I gladly went back to North Carolina and start working on updating my house. What a blast it was. My passion for interior design finally took over and I felt ready to trade my lab space for real estate office.
It has been 9 years since I sold first house, and in a process I gained extended knowledge about real estate inside and outs, house construction, remodeling as well as excitement and frustration during the process. When finally North Carolina real estate trends are moving toward quality and financial responsibility is back on track, I use my teaching skills to educate my clients on essential elements of house ownership: Quality Living.
